Alcohol yeast strain Y1986
Scientific and manufacturing enterprise TRIS offers new efficient alcohol yeast strain Y1986 – Saccharomyces cerevisiae Y1986. The strain was selected in State Scientific Research Institute of Genetics and Selection of Industrial Microorganisms and protected by Patent of Russian Federation ¹ 2001097. Strain Y1986 is the only strain in Russia received sanitary certificate, approved by Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Basic characteristics of yeast strain Y1986
- Has high fermentative activity, generates amylase during fermenting and capable to ferment stum in wide range of temperature.
- Capable to ferment stum from starch-containing raw material for 48-60 hours at a temperature of 28-37°Ñ and established consumption of saccharifying material, providing standard spirit outcome and content of unfermented carbohydrates.
- Makes it possible to reduce greatly consumption of saccharifying materials with 72-hour fermentation (see Table 1.).
